Pangas fish with an artisanal technique that uses wind and tide to drift a highly selective net called SURIPERA. This technique has the lowest bycatch and fuel consumption per pound globally. Del Pacifico's shrimp is also the only shrimp fishery certified by Fair Trade in the world.
Having a limited range and storage, Pangas must off-load within hours of a catch. Our shrimp specialists pick up the catch every day and take it to our own state-of-the-art processing facility.
